Opportunity Details

• Location: Outpatient department of our Muskegon facility
• Clinic Schedule: 4 days per week with 1 dedicated day off
• Surgical Time: Assigned OR time for 2 days each month
• Scope of Practice: Comprehensive OB/GYN services, including:
  • Preventive screenings and wellness examinations
  • Care during prenatal and postpartum periods
  • Full range of gynecologic services
  • Natural family planning
  • Infertility assessments and management
• Call Coverage: Shared call rotation with a team of experienced professionals
• Team Composition: A total of 7 providers, including 5 physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• Academic Engagement: Opportunities to teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through our academic partnerships

Requirements

• Open to recent graduates
• Physicians must be board certified in a relevant clinical area or board eligible, with certification expected within five years of the start date (unless otherwise required by medical staff bylaws)
• Active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
• DEA license
• ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may involve:

• Delivering direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Engaging in teaching and mentoring activities
• Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health initiatives
