Telecom Program Manager

Job Duties:
Seasoned Telecommunications individual who will assist in coordinating projects and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems. Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and coordinating a variety of telecommunications projects and ensuring effective utilization of company resources.

Responsibilities:
* Project Coordination: Oversee the execution of various telecommunications projects, ensuring company resources are used efficiently.
* Reporting: Compile and present project status reports, manage project schedules, and conduct project meetings.
* Technical Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical problems, analyze system requirements, and define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
* Vendor and Carrier Relations: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, including contract negotiations. Previous experience working with major Telecom carriers like ATT, Verizon, Lumen, etc., is crucial.
* Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of current and emerging trends in the Connectivity landscape, such as SDWAN, 5G, Low Earth orbit satellite, etc. Understand the challenges involved in delivering data circuits and voice lines, and devise strategies to mitigate them.
* Team Coordination: Collaborate with network and voice engineers for implementation, conduct audits of the circuits, and understand the requirements. Regularly coordinate with carriers and business partners to discuss project delivery status

Qualifications:
* A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a relevant field.
* Knowledge and experience in implementing various telecom connectivity solutions like MPLS, Direct Internet, Satellite, SD WAN, etc.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong presentation skills.
* Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical skills.

Additional Qualifications:
• Hands on experience in handling projects related to maintaining the lifecycle of Telecommunications connections across a large footprint of locations
• Strong experience in managing vendor relations, have dealt in contract negotiations
• Coordinate with Carriers and Business Partners on regular basis to discuss project delivery status
• Experience coordinating with Network teams for implementing various Telecom projects within a large organization
• Have good knowledge of Telecom product and topology terms
