Precision Manufacturing Quality Assurance Inspector

You’ll Handle

• First article, in‑process, and final inspections on manufactured components
• Dimensional checks using calipers, micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, and related instruments
• CMM operation to confirm specifications (Mitutoyo, CMM‑Manager, or equivalent experience is a plus)
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and welding symbols
• Gage calibration and care of inspection equipment
• Internal ISO audits and ongoing support of the quality management system
• Recording inspection results, nonconforming material, and quality reports
• Assisting with root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Partnering with production and engineering to resolve quality concerns

To Succeed Here

• 1+ year of manufacturing quality inspection experience
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and techniques
• Comfort reading blueprints and applying GD&T
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 systems
• CMM experience; exposure to Mitutoyo or CMM‑Manager preferred
• Familiarity with welding symbols and weld inspection
• Detail‑driven, analytical problem solver
• High school diploma or equivalent
