We are seeking a skilled and reliable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. We are mostly a newer-fleet maintenance shop. Looking for someone with hands-on experience diagnosing engine, ABS, & aftertreatment issues. Need someone reliable, and with the right experience to diagnose issues efficiently. We primarly service Freighliners, International LT, Volvo and sometimes Peterbilt and Kenworth.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain various diesel engines, transmissions, and related components
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and complete repair orders with accuracy
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and high-quality repairs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company and industry standards
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on diesel mechanic experience
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine and transmission systems
- Proficiency with major diagnostic software, including:
- DiagnosticLink
- Cummins INSITE
- Volvo/Mack Tech Tool
- DAF DAVIE
- Other heavy-duty chassis and OEM diagnostic programs
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair instructions
- Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electrical systems and after-treatment systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with management and customers as needed
