As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, document security-related activity using technology, and deliver service with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notification procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns. Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
