ABOUT BALTIMORE COUNTRY CLUB Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and it was a success from the start, with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening, the Club gained immediate recognition in the golf world by hosting the fifth United States Open Championship. Today the Club is over 3,400 members strong with two campuses. It is widely recognized as one of the top 50 country clubs in the nation and top 100 in the world. We are all about the simple truth and doing what is right, not what is easy. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A WELCOME HOUSE ATTENDANT:The Welcome House Attendant is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure Club environment by monitoring and assessing the traffic entering and exiting Club property, patrolling the premises and detecting and investigating suspicious activity and other security incidences. Specifically, this position will actively provide the security presence and initiative to safe guard the Club's members, staff and all vendors and visitors on the Club property and protect the Club's property and assets. Welcome House Attendants will be given a uniform and Club provided meals. QUALIFICATIONSCandidates must be available March through NovemberThe minimum age for this position is 18 years oldYou must have reliable transportationPrevious security experience is preferred but not requiredMust be a quick thinker, vigilant, and effective problem solverYou must be able to work as a team playerAbility to work in varying temperaturesMust be adaptable in a continuously changing, fast-paced environmentAbility to lift 50 lbs Experience working in a Country Club, hotel, or retirement community is strongly preferred, but not required.
