About the Position

Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Location

Athens, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit on night shifts
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to holiday scheduling expectations — travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period
• Complete all orientation modules and compliance requirements on time per contract guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all facility protocols and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required — CRT not accepted
• Georgia RRT license or Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule requests accepted post-offer or on-site
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed within required deadlines to avoid start date delays
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Respiratory or Neuro Diagnostics setting
• Prior travel therapy experience welcomed, though first-time travelers are accepted
• Ability to adapt to floating assignments within facility scope of practice
