CDL-A Transport Driver – Exeter, NH

We’re hiring a dependable CDL-A Transport Driver to run heavy-duty wreckers, rollbacks, recovery trucks, and tractor-trailer combinations (26,000+ GVWR). This is a hands-on driving role where you’ll be on the road, working closely with dispatch, and handling real-world transport and recovery work—not just highway miles.

This position is full-time Monday–Friday (5AM–7PM availability) with a rotating on-call weekend schedule . If you’re someone who doesn’t mind getting called when work needs to get done, there’s strong earning potential here.

Pay & Earnings

• $28–$34/hour base pay
• $49/hour premium rate (5PM–7AM Monday–Friday + all weekend hours)
• Up to $120,000/year potential earnings

What You’ll Do

• Operate heavy-duty wreckers, rollbacks, and tractor-trailer units safely
• Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries
• Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain logs, trip sheets, and required documentation
• Communicate with dispatch to coordinate daily work
• Navigate routes using GPS, maps, and written/oral instructions
• Handle customer interactions professionally when needed
• Follow all DOT rules, safety procedures, and traffic laws
• Complete Tow Book and job documentation accurately
• Keep assigned equipment clean and in working order
• Report vehicle or equipment issues immediately

What We’re Looking For

• Valid CDL-A license
• Clean driving record + current DOT medical card
• No automatic transmission restriction
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience
• Hazmat, tanker, and doubles/triples endorsements strongly preferred
• Comfortable operating heavy-duty vehicles and equipment
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with dispatch
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
