Clinical Therapist

Family Care Center was founded in 2016 by two U.S. Army Veterans to provide behavioral health care to service members, veterans, and their families. With nearly 30 outpatient clinics across Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Tennessee, and Texas, we continue to care for people of all ages and conditions. Position Overview Act as an independently licensed behavioral health clinician, offering counseling and mental health services that include assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders. Therapists work to meet patients’ social needs, coordinate referrals to internal or external specialists, and when necessary, facilitate hospitalization or advanced psychiatric evaluations. Essential Responsibilities Provide mental health counseling services in our office setting Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to determine clients’ mental health needs Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and clients’ goals Provide evidence‑based counseling and therapy using various therapeutic modalities Monitor client progress while maintaining ethical and legal standards by keeping accurate and up‑to‑date client records to ensure compliance with treatment plans Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients Participate in regular supervision, staff meetings, and continuing education activities to enhance professional development Minimum Qualifications Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field required Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working with individuals ranging from children to geriatric populations Experience implementing evidence‑based treatments for behavioral health disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD State licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT required Registered play therapist preferred Benefits & Perks Support system that enables building a profitable caseload with autonomy and resources to deliver exceptional care Balanced lifestyle with no on-call, weekend or evening hours Clinician‑led clinics that empower providers to make decisions for their patients Career growth opportunities, including research and continuing education Advanced technology: AI‑supported clinical documentation and a behavioral‑health focused EHR Diverse clinical team of licensed therapists, psychiatrists, NP/PAs, psychologists, TMS specialists, and support staff High provider retention rate of 88% Proven positive patient outcomes displayed in our track record Comprehensive compensation and benefits, including medical, dental, fertility, retirement, wellness, profit sharing, and more Total Annual Compensation $81,200 – $119,000+ (based on experience and patient care). The base salary is determined by years of experience and includes bi‑weekly premium pay, with additional earnings for hours above target. Eligible for specialty services outcomes bonuses (TMS & IOP).
