What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care for neuro, stroke, vascular, and post-surgical patients in ICU settings
• Manage ventilators, ICP monitoring, EVDs, lumbar drains, and CRRT
• Perform assessments and routine procedures including arterial lines, central lines, and NIH evaluations
• Float between units including SCU, NCU, CCU, and occasionally to the ED for CC admits
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient status and interventions accurately in Epic EMR
• Respond swiftly to patient emergencies and changing conditions

What You Need

Required:

• Valid RN license in State, with at least 2 years ICU or neuro critical care experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH certifications (CPI can be obtained onsite for $100)
• Experience with vents, ICP management, and specialized equipment listed
• Ability to float between units and handle critical procedures

Preferred:

• Specialized neuro or stroke care experience
• Experience managing post-op craniotomies and complex critical cases
