As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will report security-related concerns, assist visitors and personnel, and contribute to a professional environment. Pay Rate: $19.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 06:30 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, visitor records, and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
