Security Officer

Johnson Security Bureau, Inc. is seeking to add a dedicated Security Officer to our team. Position: Security Officer Location: New York City, NY Work Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Employment Opportunity Available Pay Rate: $18.00/hour Experience: 2 years security experience Shifts Available: Morning – Times will vary Afternoon – Times will vary Overnight – Times will vary Key Responsibilities: Monitor premises through regular patrols to ensure safety and security Control access to the facility by verifying identification and directing visitors if needed Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activity and ensure order Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and alarms, contacting emergency services when necessary Observe and report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches Operate and monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras and fire alarm panels Provide assistance, information, and directions to visitors and staff in a professional manner Complete detailed incident reports, daily activity logs, and documentation as required Collaborate with team members and follow established security procedures and protocols Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of security experience preferred Valid New York State State Security Guard License CPR and First Aid certification High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
