Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Kentucky and no current placement allowed at Program: Vaya Workforce Solutions - University of Kentucky.

Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Med/Surg experience required. Med/Surg Tele skills required.

Required Credentials: EKG onboarding exam required. Math exam required. Med/Pharmacology exam required. Med/Surg Tele competency exam required. CORE exams required.

Special Requests: If you want to take 4-7 days off, you must be willing to make up that time. You must fulfill the full 13 week contract. Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted at this facility.

Floating Requirements: Will work 5 Main, with also the possibility to work other areas within UKHC and Good Sam.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 07/04/2026, 09/07/2026, 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027, 01/18/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
