Contract | Evening Shift (3x12 Hours, 13:00–01:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced 54-bed Emergency Room averaging approximately 220 patients per day
• Assess, triage, and manage emergency patients across a broad spectrum of acuity levels within a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective emergency care
• Float to other units in rotation with staff, in accordance with facility floating policies and Joint Commission standards, as applicable
• Expect to work some holidays and weekends; agency team members may be scheduled up to six weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale (pending certification acceptable as a substitute)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system required
• 2-Step PPD and Flu Vaccine required – no exemptions accepted
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or trauma-designated emergency department
• Familiarity with Relias or Net Learning online education portals
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment
