Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more in accordance with established protocols.
• Analyze test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Support specimen collection and prepare samples for testing when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, assist in training new staff or students, and uphold laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe workspace while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
