Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Overview We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide support to obstetricians, surgical scrub techs, registered nurses, and charge nurses in the Labor, Delivery, and Recovery/Postpartum (LDRP) setting. The role integrates education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to ensure safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. Responsibilities Provide clinical support to the LDRP team, including obstetricians, surgical scrub techs, RNs, and Charge Nurses. Apply education, technical competence, and patient interaction to ensure safe, precise treatment under supervision. Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, families/support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety and deliver optimal patient care. Mentor and train students as needed. Qualifications CA RN Licensure BLS (AHA) ACLS AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring NRP Certification Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience (preferred) Shift 3 x 12-hour shifts, 0700–1900, every other weekend; no on-call required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
