Software Development Manager, Private Brands

Salary: $110,000 - 150,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least 3 years of experience managing engineering teams.
• We need 7+ years of direct experience working within engineering teams.
• We require 3+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including patterns for reliability and scalability.
• We need a strong grasp of engineering practices across the full software, hardware, and networking development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build workflows, testing, certification, and live site operations.
• We require experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Preferred: experience communicating with users, technical peers, and senior leadership to gather requirements, explain product features, technical designs, and product strategy.
• Preferred: experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring, coaching, and leading software engineering teams to strengthen their effectiveness and technical skills.

• We lead engineering teams building complex back-end systems and agentic solutions for customer-facing products.
• We define and drive both short-term and long-term architectural plans for the product.
• We partner with software development engineers, partner engineers, and engineering managers to shape technical and operational designs that deliver value quickly while protecting the long-term roadmap.
• We refine operational processes and work to lower ongoing costs.
• We act as stewards of a world-class customer experience by continually improving product performance, technical documentation, availability, and scalability.
• We translate business and functional needs into concrete deliverables and user experiences, including design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable distributed services and GenAI solutions.
• We hire and develop a large, high-performing engineering team.
