As a Dental Assistant at Cozy Cabin Dental, you’ll play a crucial role in the day-to-day flow of our busy practice. Dental assistant

Prepare and set up for dental procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment

Sterilize instruments and follow all infection control protocols

Maintain inventory of dental supplies and coordinate lab work and deliveries

Take and process digital X-rays, panoramic images, intraoral photos, and impressions

Provide chairside assistance to dentists and hygienists

Assist with temporary crowns, hygiene tasks, and orthodontic procedures as needed

Communicate warmly with patients—welcoming, reviewing chief complaints, explaining procedures, and providing post-op instructions

Accurately record treatment notes, plans, and completed procedures in dental software

Schedule and manage patient appointments, recall visits, and follow-ups

Facilitate patient check-in and check-out

Ensure HIPAA compliance and uphold patient confidentiality at all times

Maintain office cleanliness, help prepare for the next day, and contribute to a positive work environment

Demonstrate initiative by supporting teammates, identifying needs, and proposing solutions

full-time $16 - $28 per hour

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:45am - 5:30pm

Friday: 7:45am - 4:30pm

• Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
• Open Dental
• Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

Minimum 1 year experience in dental assisting

Proficient in dental software and general office organization

Experience with digital X-rays and patient communication

Ability to multi-task and remain positive in a busy environment

Adaptability and willingness to accept feedback and learn new systems

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to reliably commute to West Jordan, UT

• Certified Orthodontic Assistant

Experience with orthodontic assisting

Bilingual skills

Demonstrated leadership or team-building experience in prior roles

Innovative mindset and willingness to suggest workflow improvements
