Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Special Education Teacher – Galt, CA
2026–2027 School Year
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in Galt, CA for the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Details
- 8/13/2026 – 6/9/2027
- Full-time
- Onsite position
- Caseload: Structured Autism Kindergarten classroom
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized academic instruction within a structured autism classroom setting
- Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with staff, service providers, and families to support student success
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with district and state requirements
- Participate in meetings and support implementation of student educational plans
Requirements
- Active California Special Education teaching credentials required
- Experience working with students in autism-focused classroom settings preferred
- Strong collaboration and classroom management skills
- Ability to support diverse student learning needs within a structured setting
Pay
- $50–$55/hour (depending on experience, credentials, and caseload)
