Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring at least 24 months of Cardiac Cath/CCL experience and active IA or compact RN licensure. Details Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 2 beds Patient types include coronary PCI and structural heart cases Equipment used includes Impella, IABP (intra-aortic balloon pump), and Penumbra Drips administered include vasopressors, vasodilators, and glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors Days shift, 4x9-hour shifts starting at 0700, 36 hrs/week Call requirements of 10 to 12 shifts per month, including every 3rd weekend EMR used is Epic (Cupid experience highly preferred) Requirements Active IA or compact/multistate RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) Minimum 24 months of current Cardiac Cath/CCL experience required Experience with coronary PCI and structural heart patient populations required Equipment experience with Impella, IABP, and Penumbra required Experience with vasopressor, vasodilator, and glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitor drips required Epic Cupid EMR experience highly preferred Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath Lab required for consideration Supervisory performance evaluation or professional reference from within the past 2 years preferred Valid driver's license required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, as no local candidates will be considered Holiday coverage required for 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed Limited time-off requests permitted around Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods Past employees of the health system, whether FTE or PRN, are restricted from working travel assignments at other facilities within the same market for 12 months These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
