Active Motion Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our passionate team in Stockton, California. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will play a critical role in guiding patients on their journey to recover mobility and improved functionality. Active Motion Physical Therapy Services prides itself on delivering exceptional care in a state-of-the-art, 5,000-square-foot rehabilitation facility. Located in scenic Stockton, our practice focuses on outpatient orthopedic therapy, ensuring that we cater primarily to patients with private medical insurance. Our environment is collaborative, supportive, and designed to foster growth and healing, with a team comprised of experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA).

Work Environment

The position requires working onsite in our fully equipped rehabilitation facility. As part of a multidisciplinary team that includes two experienced physical therapists and support staff, you will benefit from a supportive and innovative environment. Our facility is designed with modern equipment and therapeutic tools, allowing you to provide your patients with the most effective treatments possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations, developing personalized treatment plans to meet individual needs.
• Manage a manageable caseload of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives focused and tailored care.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment techniques and methodologies to administer therapeutic interventions aimed at alleviating pain, enhancing mobility, and promoting rehabilitation.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment process, fostering their commitment to rehabilitation goals.
• Implement and oversee fitness and wellness programs geared toward improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care strategies, ensuring holistic support for every patient.
• Continuously monitor the impact of treatments, providing consistent evaluations and promoting transparent communication with patients about their progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus at Active Motion Physical Therapy is on patients recovering from orthopedic issues. This includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. We strive to provide personalized therapy that focuses on enabling patients to regain their independence and return to activities they enjoy.

Qualifications

• Active Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) qualification.
• Certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in California.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques is essential.
• Proficiency in developing and conducting effective exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs.
• Clean record with no instances of board actions or disciplinary measures against the license.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software platforms, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly valued.
• A proven track record of successful patient outcomes demonstrated through effective care interventions.
• Skill and willingness to implement a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches.

Compensation and Benefits
