Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience required License: Active RN license that complies with NLC guidelines Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical experience - One year of travel experience required - Telemetry experience Description: This position involves working in a medical-surgical overflow unit with patients who are post-surgical and under observation. The nurse will be responsible for ensuring an appropriate patient ratio of 1:6 or 1:7. Team nursing is transitioning within the unit, and LPNs are being hired to assist in this transition. Candidates must have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing. The nursing staff may be required to float between like units as needed. Weekend and on-call duties are as needed. Submissions must include all requested time-off at the time of submission. No local candidates will be accepted as the facility has a 100-mile radius rule. All candidates must meet the specified qualifications and have appropriate documentation upon submission.
