Apply to this 1st shift Shipping Clerk role in Little Chute, WI today!Shipping Clerk Responsibilities:- Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates- Perform inspection of parts and products using all various types of hand measuring tools, calipers, etc.- Assemble orders and prepare necessary paperwork for purpose of shipment- Report damages and discrepancies to the Supply Chain Manager/Accounting- Assist in maintaining inventory counts- Assist in pulling stock to fill customer orders from inventory- Serve as backup for delivery route drivers as needed, up to 6 weeks per year- Follow company safety / work rulesRequirements for Shipping Clerk:- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, talk, hear, use hands and fingers to handle materials, reach with hands and arms- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, use close, distance, peripheral, and color vision to view equipment and products, use depth perception while handling materials, and adjust focus while viewing equipment and products- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, safety rules, and procedure manuals- Ability to speak effectively with other employees in the organization- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form- Ability to deal with standardized situations with occasional variables- Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, recordkeeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, etc.- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously
