Houston, TX | Hybrid Schedule Available | Direct Hire $80,000 - $110,000 + Bonus Potential LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a highly respected, full-service law firm in downtown Houston to identify an experienced Real Estate Paralegal for a growing commercial real estate practice. This position offers the opportunity to support sophisticated commercial real estate and real estate finance transactions while working alongside a collaborative team of attorneys. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex transactions from inception through closing and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented legal environment. About the Opportunity: Due to continued growth, our client is expanding its real estate practice and adding a paralegal to support increasing transaction volume. This role offers exposure to sophisticated commercial real estate matters, direct interaction with clients and lenders, and the opportunity to become an integral member of a highly regarded legal team. Key Responsibilities: Support transactions from letter of intent through closing and post-closing activities Prepare and maintain closing checklists and closing binders Coordinate transaction closings and related logistics Assist attorneys throughout the transaction lifecycle Review title commitments and related title documents Analyze surveys and identify issues for attorney review Conduct UCC searches and other due diligence investigations Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and opposing counsel Document Preparation Assist with real estate finance and secured lending documentation Draft contracts, lease-related documents, and closing materials Manage transaction documentation and organization Corporate & Entity Formation Form LLCs and other business entities Prepare and file Secretary of State documentation Coordinate county clerk filings and recordings Draft certificates, amendments, and organizational documents Client & Attorney Support Maintain regular communication with clients and transaction parties Assist with workflow management and transaction coordination Support multiple attorneys within the real estate practice group Qualifications: Required Experience Experience handling complex transactional closings Title review and survey review experience UCC search experience Entity formation experience Secretary of State and county filing experience Ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions Preferred Qualifications Law firm experience strongly preferred Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent legal experience Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) designation is a plus Experience in a billable-hour environment Strong client service and communication skills Technical Skills Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook Adobe Acrobat/PDF editing software Document management and document automation systems Annual performance-based bonus opportunity Comprehensive medical, dental, life, and disability insurance 401(k) with profit-sharing opportunities Paid time off and holidays Paid parking or public transportation allowance Complimentary fitness center access Modern office amenities Annual salary review process Work Schedule Full-time position based in Downtown Houston In-office during onboarding and training period Hybrid schedule available after successful onboarding Long-term flexibility based on performance and business needs What We're Looking For: The successful candidate will be: Service-oriented and professional Collaborative and team-focused Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities Able to work independently while supporting a team Why Apply?
