Job Description
The Roofing Installer will be responsible for installing metal roofing and asphalt shingles on both residential and commercial roofs. Working primarily within medium-sized teams of 4-6 people, the role involves occasional travel to various job sites. This position requires expertise in shingle installation, weatherproofing, and equipment maintenance to ensure durable and quality roofing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Install metal roofing and asphalt shingles on residential and commercial buildings
- Handle and manage roofing materials safely and efficiently
- Apply weatherproofing techniques to ensure roof durability
- Dispose of waste materials following safety and environmental standards
- Maintain and perform routine checks on roofing equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in roofing installation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in roofing techniques and use of roofing tools
- Knowledge of safety standards compliance
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
- Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Close attention to detail
