Location Location: 2689 US-522, Selinsgrove, PA 17870 Work Schedule Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm, overtime as needed Starting Pay Rate Starting Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour Responsibilities Operate paint spraying equipment to apply finishes to interior and exterior doors and parts Conduct pre-checks and routine maintenance on spray equipment, including airless pumps and HVLP sprayers Read and interpret work orders to determine specifications such as color, size, and type Verify accuracy of parts and materials before beginning work Perform visual and quality inspections before and after spraying Mix paint and transfer paint from large to small containers as required Move doors onto conveyor systems and into ovens for curing Collaborate with team members to handle and flip doors to spray all sides Support material preparation tasks as needed Handle surface preparation chemicals, paint, and unframed glass units safely Maintain a safe and clean working environment Help with door repairs and general housekeeping Maintain an adequate level of product knowledge Move components and materials safely and report issues to leadership Wear PPE such as composite/steel toed shoes, safety glasses, earplugs, gloves (per job function), and high visibility clothing Qualifications Must be at least 18 Years Old Work safely and follow all plant rules Show initiative, be a self-starter Communicate, in English, in a clear and effective manner Ability to multi-task Work independently, as well as part of a team, and have end of shift flexibility Read a tape measure and do basic math At least one year of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting At least one year of experience using paint spraying equipment Physical Requirements Stand for 8 - 10 hours straight Climb and descend stairs/ladder as needed for the role Do repetitive movements (hand, arm, leg; bending and twisting at the waist; bending at the knee; squatting; lift, push and pull 50-pounds) Withstand exposure to temperature extremes; sounds or noise levels that may be uncomfortable Handle, control and feel raw materials and finished goods What You’ll Enjoy A collaborative work environment with a clear strategy and goals A competitive base salary and profit-sharing program Comprehensive benefits package - medical, dental, eye care and life insurance - Benefits start first of the month following hire 401k Retirement Savings Plan - Up to 4% match, 100% vested after 6 months Challenging and meaningful work and the chance to participate on cross-functional teams across the company Development opportunities: We recognize potential in our people and strive to offer various opportunities for advancement, training, and personal growth Family-oriented culture, focused on putting our people first Metrie embraces diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment where all team members and customers belong.
