Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neuro telemetry, with specific experience in caring for patients with cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), transient ischemic attacks (TIA), subdural hematomas, and seizure disorders. Experience in surgical oncology and vascular surgery is also preferred, particularly in post-operative recovery.
Work Schedule
Start Date: September 21 or every Monday
Shift: 12 hours, Days, 7 AM - 7 PM
Scheduled Days: Every Monday & Tuesday
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: As needed
Position Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care settings
Licensure/Certification:
- RN License in Illinois
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- EPIC charting experience
Floating Requirement: Ability to float to other medical-surgical units as needed
New Graduates: Not accepted for this position
Job Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to best practices and protocols. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing patient assessments and developing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as per established protocols
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and response to treatments
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care
- Educating patients and families on health management and care plans

This position is located in a healthcare facility in the Chicago, IL area.
