R10087093 Delivery Driver, Class B (Open) Location: San Jose, CA - Hobson - Filling industrial Key Responsibilities Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders & supplies Nurture courteous & professional relationships with customers Support deliveries in a timely manner Safely secure and unsecure cylinders Complete deliveries on customer property sites using a hand cart; emphasizing the physically active and hands‑on nature of this position Drivers will frequently move in and out of their vehicle View a day in the life of Airgas driver: Qualifications Valid Class A CDL or B CDL with HAZMAT & Airbrake endorsements Hazmat IS REQUIRED. CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED UNLESS THEY CURRENTLY HAVE THEIR HAZMAT Maintain appropriate driver's license, medical card & endorsements No more than two (2) traffic convictions or two (2) at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years; or no more than a combination of one (1) traffic conviction and one (1) at‑fault accident in the last 3 years No driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven (7) years Must be able to work in a drug‑free environment Be able to regularly lift 75lbs and move more than 125lbs with the aid of material handling equipment Must have 1 year of CDL driving experience in the last 5 years or provide proof of a certificate of completion from trucking school completed in the last 12 months Preferred Qualifications Forklift experience 1 year of CDL experience Benefits Pay: CDL A License holders make $35.00/Hr. CDL B License holders make $33.25/Hr.
