Make a real impact supporting students from kindergarten through high school by sharing your expertise in school psychology and deaf/hard of hearing education. This rewarding contract position offers the chance to work closely with a dedicated school community near Fremont, NE, contributing to student success in a part-time capacity.
You’ll work with K-12 learners 2-3 days per week, offering specialized assessment, direct services, and educational support. Your unique skills and insights will help ensure every student—including those who are deaf or hard of hearing—receives the tailored support they need to thrive. Desired Qualifications:
- Certified or licensed School Psychologist
- Experience teaching or supporting Deaf/Hard of Hearing students in a school setting
- Familiarity with assessments, intervention strategies, and development of IEPs for diverse learners
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
- Adaptability and commitment to supporting K-12 students across varying grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and interpret results to guide student support strategies
- Deliver services and interventions for individuals and small groups
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and monitor IEPs
- Offer consultation on classroom modifications and accessibility for Deaf/Hard of Hearing students
- Provide crisis intervention and participate in multidisciplinary evaluation teams
