Certified Surgical Technologist

Overview South Texas Specialty Hospital, a 25‑bed facility with 8 operating rooms, performs outpatient surgical procedures in Orthopedics and Spine. The Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech is responsible for scrubbing during surgical procedures, demonstrating competence, maintaining a sterile field, preparing supplies, instruments and equipment, supporting the Surgery Center’s philosophy, objectives, and goals, and participating in quality improvement activities.
