Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

$2203.20/week -

Job Summary:

Provides specialized respiratory therapy care to neonatal and pediatric patients in the ICU setting, ensuring optimal respiratory function and stability. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer and monitor respiratory treatments, procedures, and ventilator management following physician orders.
  
  
• 
  Assess patient conditions and respond to changes by adjusting therapy plans accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care activities accurately using electronic health records, preferably Epic.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and modify patient care plans.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on respiratory care, therapies, and equipment use.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital policies, including ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Ohio or multi-state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist at the time of submission.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in NICU or PICU settings.
  
  
• 
  Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated ability to perform complex respiratory procedures and patient assessments.
  
  
• 
  Strong documentation skills and familiarity with Epic EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Able to work night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM), including every other Sunday, with flexibility for additional weekends and holidays.
