Pelvic Health Therapist Opportunity

You will be supported through a mentorship program and work closely with APTA Board-Certified Women's Health Specialists. Our team fosters continuous learning through collaboration and regular case presentations, helping you build expertise and confidence. Our adult rehab center is a comprehensive facility providing physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy to the high school and adult population. Our specialties include orthopedics, neurology and pelvic health. We also have a wheelchair seating clinic and pool therapy programs.

UF Health Shands Outpatient Rehab Services is dedicated to providing excellent patient care to individuals throughout north central Florida. Responsibilities:

In this role, the Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist provides pelvic health therapy services and education to patients. In addition, will contribute to the education and professional development of other healthcare providers and students in the field of rehabilitation.

Schedule:

FTE:.60 (24 hours/week)

Shift Hours: 7:00am-6:00pm; TBD

Days of Week: Monday-Friday; TBD

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelors in Rehab Therapy
• No previous clinical experience necessary
• Demonstrates knowledge and skill in a broad range of therapy services and settings
• Demonstrates strong communication skills

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist in the state of Florida.

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver' NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job
