Custodian PositionCurrent JCPS custodians and substitute custodians who wish to submit a bid for this position must utilize the submit bid link listed below. Internal bids submitted for this position will not be considered after 08/24/2026.Job Description: (Attached)Working Calendar: 261 Days/ 8.0 HoursSalary Schedule: 1B Grade 2 (attached) As per Board-approved 2026-2027 salary placement rules/schedules. Salary Pay Range: $16.13/hr - $19.24/hr Critical Need Stipend $3.50 per hourScope of Responsibilities: Provides efficient, quality cleaning (housekeeping) tasks district buildings following established practices, standards and methods under the direction of the supervisor.Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or G.E.DAbility to perform basic commercial cleaning (housekeeping) tasks in schools and office buildingsAbility to use/operate commercial cleaning equipmentEffective Communication SkillsDesirable Qualifications:Experience in a diverse workplaceInternal CandidatesAt this time, bids on this custodial opening are being accepted from presently employed custodians, sub-custodians, and JCPS employees with the required housekeeping training. You will be asked to login using your JCPS User ID and Password (Please note: this is NOT your Employee ID Number).
