Church Nursery Workers

Location: Abundant Life Texoma, Durant, Oklahoma Hours: Sunday mornings (10am-12:30pm) + Wednesday nights (6pm-8pm) Position Type: Part-Time Contract Labor, Exempt, Direct Report to Lead Pastor and Student Ministries Pastor Who We Are We are a gospel-centered church family committed to caring for families and raising up the next generation to know Jesus. Our nursery ministry exists to provide a safe, nurturing, Christ-honoring environment for babies and toddlers while parents participate in worship and discipleship. Position Overview You will care for infants and toddlers (birth to 2 years) during Sunday and Wednesday services. This role is about safety and support — making sure every child feels secure, loved, and respected. Key Responsibilities Supervise and care for infants and toddlers (birth–24 months) Ensure a clean, safe, age-appropriate environment Create a warm, engaging atmosphere with age-appropriate play, songs, and interaction Follow all safety protocols and check-in/check-out procedures Communicate respectfully with parents regarding needs or concerns Maintain basic records (attendance, incidents, allergies, supplies) Partner with ministry leadership to uphold church values and policies Required Qualifications We take safety seriously.
