Senior Accountant

We are partnering with a growing professional services firm in North County San Diego that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on an immediate basis. This is a hands‑on opportunity to step into a high‑impact role supporting a lean, fast‑paced accounting team. About the Role: This position will play a key role in supporting the company’s corporate accounting function across multiple entities. The role has a strong emphasis on accounts payable and intercompany transactions , along with core general ledger responsibilities and month‑end close support. Key Responsibilities: Manage high-volume accounts payable processes, including both external vendors and intercompany activity Handle intercompany transactions , including lending and related reconciliations Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals Support month‑end close across multiple entities Assist with cash management and balance sheet reconciliations Contribute to financial reporting and audit support (annual audits) Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial data Qualifications: 4+ years of accounting experience, ideally at the Senior Accountant level Strong experience with accounts payable and intercompany accounting Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger processes Experience working in a multi‑entity environment Background in professional services or financial services is a plus Ability to operate independently and thrive in a lean team environment Why This Opportunity: Immediate opportunity with strong potential for temp‑to‑hire High visibility within a collaborative and growing organization Exposure to complex accounting processes across multiple entities Opportunity to make an immediate impact #J-18808-Ljbffr Professional Search Group
