Territory Manager-North Portland

Location: Portland, OR | Schedule: Full-time, field-based/on-site Overview An established industrial hardware distributor operates a network of mobile stores that bring a full line of industrial hardware directly to businesses across multiple sectors. This Territory Manager role is a field sales position responsible for growing a defined geographic territory by operating a fully stocked mobile store and building relationships with customers in transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, government, and heavy equipment industries. What you'll do Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and calls on businesses near existing customers Make face-to-face calls on both cold and warm sales prospects Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and the mobile store Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and overall functionality of the mobile store Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls Continually maintain and update customer contact information- including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses- using company software Required qualifications Must reside within the assigned territory; relocation is not available Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle Must maintain a clean driving history Must have the physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis High school diploma or equivalent required Strong, stable work history with no job hopping; ideally no more than 3 companies over the past 10 years Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment Preferred qualifications Outside industrial sales experience, especially route or industrial sales experience, is preferred Why this role This position offers the opportunity to run an independent, mobile-based sales operation serving a wide variety of industries while building long-term customer relationships within a defined territory. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group
