Nurse Practitioner, Emergency Medicine

We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our fast-paced and supportive Emergency Medicine team at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN


Position Details

• Full-time, rotating shift- days and nights
  • 9-hour or 12-hour shifts
  • Opportunities for days, evenings, nights
  • Weekends and Holidays are expected
• No call
• Patient population: Level 1 pediatric trauma center, burn center and only comprehensive children's hospital in the country. Opportunities for both high volume high acuity academic center and community setting
• 162 visits is the average daily censes at Riley ED

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently in different areas of the Emergency Department including the main ED and observation unit.
• Provide acute care for all patient types; focused on lower acuity patients with potential collaborative care on higher acuity cases
• Perform bedside ER procedures

Qualifications:

• FNP, PA, ACNP or PNP certifications required
• Emergency Medicine APP experience strongly preferred
• Will accept new graduates who have a strong EM background
