Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine the counseling needs of each student.

• Assessing and diagnosing clients for substance abuse issues using DSM criteria to ensure appropriate care levels as guided by ASAM standards.
\n
• Developing tailored treatment plans that specifically address substance abuse counseling as part of a holistic approach to therapy.
\n
• Creating client discharge and continuum of care plans to facilitate smooth transitions and support ongoing recovery.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of all counseling interactions, assessments, and follow-up services in clients' clinical records.
\n
• Managing a caseload effectively, including case management duties, utilization reviews, and treatment planning documentation.
\n
• Coordinating support services for clients and their families, ensuring that all interactions are recorded accurately in clinical records.
\n
• Engaging with various referral sources such as legal, educational, and employment entities to provide comprehensive care and support.
\n
• Facilitating crisis interventions through a collaborative approach with a multi-disciplinary team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with school-aged children and adolescents who are facing diverse mental health challenges, including substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions. Your role is critical in providing early intervention and ongoing support that not only aids individual students but also fosters a supportive school environment. You will be instrumental in creating treatment plans that involve the student’s family and school staff, ensuring a collaborative approach to recovery.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and a current LCSW license in the state of Colorado.

Compensation and Benefits\n
