At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget./ppPURPOSE OF JOB:/ppThe TPA position is to provide support to our drivers, Lab Ops, Sales, and CS during operational hours. Utilize skills and available tools to facilitate reliable and flexible deliveries to labs. Track and communicate in and out bound flight schedules and information./ppWill be a decision maker when manager and or supervisor are not available./ppThe transportation lead driver will fill the role of a driver when needed. Please review and acknowledge driver job description./ppESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:/pulliOversees and directs drivers and floaters on their assigned routes Manages all in bound and out bound flights for region/liliSchedule Cyto flights when needed./liliWill focus free time in assisting in all area transportation AGL email needs after 6 pm. Including but not limited to calling vendors for immediate need issues./liliCommunicate any additional information or changes to call-in/stops from clients/CS to drivers./liliAssisting drivers with any questions or concerns problem resolution while on route./liliMonitor and confirm that all packages have been picked up from clients and delivered properly/liliCommunicate any transportation delays to the lab in a timely manner and use TMS tools to eliminate delays to current environmental constraint standard/liliCommunicate with RTM on all issues that arise during a route/liliResponsible for compliance with all TMS/AGL processes including and not limited to: Driver check ins, delays, float driver use management, blind and proximity management, audits, verification counts/liliPM and Weekend management of AGL Emails/Incidents (manage all locations inbound urgent needs, ensure monitoring and distribution of that days incidents still open)./liliAssist in other duties relevant to transportation services./liliCoordinate with Supervisor tracking Antech vehicles that need maintenance take vehicles to for repaired and maintenance./liliWe share a collaborative obligation to ensure that we conduct ourselves in the utmost ethical manner and that we hold each other accountable to the values and standards of the organization. Antech Diagnostics has several processes in place to communicate with leadership and expects that employees will have a commitment to integrity and uncompromising values./li/ulpEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:/ppHigh school diploma or equivalent./ppREQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:/pulliMust have at least 36 months of driving experience as evidenced by a current Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)/liliAbility to effectively multi-task, while showing superior follow through on any problem cases they might face throughout the day./liliCommunication skills/liliNeat, professional appearance/liliClean driving record/liliPositive, can-do attitude/liliMicrosoft Office Suite/liliFamiliarity with logistics software (A plus but not required)/li/ulpPHYSICAL DEMANDS:/pulliProlonged standing/sitting/walking/driving/liliFine dexterity with hands/steadiness/liliAble to lift up to 25 pounds; may occasionally need to lift 40 pounds; carrying up to 15 pounds for several minutes at a time/liliAbility to communicate effectively in English with clients, supervisors and peers/liliVision-requires constant mental visual attention to details as well as ability to see well in limited light scenarios/liliBalancing/liliBending/kneeling/liliPushing/pulling/liliReaching/twisting/li/ulpWORK ENVIRONMENT:/pulliLaboratory environment with potential biohazards present/liliWorks under close to moderate supervision with limited latitude for independent judgment./liliNormally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments./liliPotential for exposure to agents known to cause zoonotic disease in humans and use of potentially hazardous chemicals as defined by the National Hazard Communication Standards.
