COMPENSATION INFORMATION
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience- Associate Mechanic Technician: $20.41 - $37.76/hourly
- Potential Annual Earnings: $81,000
- Mechanic Technician I: $23.36 - $43.22/hourly
- Potential Annual Earnings: $149,000
- Mechanic Technician II. $26.74 - $49.47/hourly
- Potential Annual Earnings: $175,000
- * Average annual earnings are an estimation dependent on hours worked
JOB DUTIES
Work Authorization: Candidates who are not legally authorized to work in the United States will not be considered. Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. * This is an entry level position for maintenance personnel desiring a career path as a Mechanic or Electronic/Electrical Technician. * Under direct supervision, gains knowledge of routine preventive maintenance and basic repairs of a variety of Halliburton equipment. * Thereafter, assists maintenance technicians in performing more complex repairs prior to be broken out as a stand-alone Technician I. * Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. * Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. * Consequences of errors are easily measured and can be confined.QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimal skills may also be acquired through a qualified technical school
- Basic set of hand tools is required.
- Preferred qualifications include an A.S. degree or Certificate in Diesel
