The successful candidate will be a visionary and entrepreneurial leader, responsible for setting the strategic vision for all academic programs and ensuring excellence in curriculum, faculty achievement, and student success. This role involves guiding the College to capitalize on its recent AACSB accreditation, with a focus on elevating academic quality, accelerating innovation, and enhancing regional and national standing. The Dean will also be tasked with deepening engagement with alumni, employers, corporate partners, donors, and community leaders at various levels. Candidates for the Dean position should have an advanced degree in business or a related discipline, with a preference for those with prior academic leadership experience. However, distinguished business leadership combined with a strong commitment to education will also be considered. The ideal candidate will have a background that may be academic, corporate, entrepreneurial, or a blend of these, and must demonstrate significant senior-level leadership experience with a proven track record of decision-making. The role requires a leader who can advance venture creation, enterprise development, and interdisciplinary collaboration, and who is adept at the strategic integration of emerging technologies in educational programs and operations.
