QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Florida RN or APRN license
• Minimum of one year of recent OR experience required
• BLS and ALS certifications through AHA or American Red Cross
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and Windows
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong critical thinking communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to patient safety ethical practice and quality care

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scrub and assist with surgical procedures while delivering high-quality patient care in the OR
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and patients to support efficient surgical flow
• Coordinate implement and evaluate perioperative nursing care throughout procedures
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with patient-specific needs
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient care and surgical activity
• Assess patient conditions and respond appropriately using sound clinical judgment
• Support onboarding and development of new team members students and staff
• Maintain clinical competency through ongoing education trainings and policy updates
• Participate in quality initiatives shared governance and departmental committees
• Foster clear and professional communication with patients families and interdisciplinary teams
• Participate in required on-call rotation coverage as needed
