About the Role

Advantage Rehab, part of the Corus Health family of companies, is seeking a part-time COTA to provide restorative care for the residents of Laguna Rainbow Elder Care Center, located just outside Albuquerque on the Laguna Pueblo. You'll work alongside an Occupational Therapist to help residents recover, adapt, and thrive — building trusted relationships within a community with a rich and distinct cultural heritage.

Key Responsibilities

• Build trusting, consistent relationships directly with patients
• Carry out therapy plans of care developed by an Occupational Therapist
• Help patients develop, recover, and improve activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide rehabilitative support for patients with a range of diagnoses affecting ADLs
• Deliver care without the pressure of rigid time constraints, allowing real relationship-building with each resident

Requirements:

What We're Looking For

• Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an AOTA-accredited institution
• Active State of New Mexico licensure
• One year of experience preferred, though we welcome strong new grads
• Reliable, insured transportation and a valid driver's license
• Someone who brings patience, warmth, and genuine curiosity to working with residents from a community with deep cultural roots
