Job Description: Mammography Technologist Trainee

Work Location: Multiple outpatient centers across Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., and Maryland

Schedule: Full-Time options available.

What You'll Need:

• Completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program and current ARRT(R) certification.
• Students: Must be in your final semester of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• A strong interest in advancing your career through mammography specialization.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and the ability to stand for extended periods.

A Day in the Life:

• Clinical Mentorship: Work alongside a preceptor to master expert positioning and exposure techniques.
• Advanced Procedures: Learn to assist Radiologists with intricate examinations, including breast biopsies.
• Quality Imaging: Develop the skills to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician evaluation.
• Patient Advocacy: Educate patients on procedures and the vital role of regular mammography in preventative health.
• Service Excellence: Maintain a patient-first focus with outstanding communication and care.
