Primary Responsibilities
- Create detailed engineering drawings, ensuring accurate dimensions and proper relationships between components and assemblies.
- Review development plans to ensure compliance with established engineering standards and specifications.
- Verify dimensional accuracy of structural layouts and installations.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, vendors, and engineering teams to ensure documentation meets project requirements.
- Work directly with customers and the sales team to support product design and application needs.
- Develop drawings and designs from concepts, sketches, and engineering notes.
- Review and evaluate proposed engineering standards, policies, and design details.
- Manage projects from design through implementation, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with PLC programming.
- Knowledge of electrical circuits and control systems.
- Strong mathematical skills, including geometry and trigonometry.
- Proficiency with CAD and other drafting/design software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement and problem-solving.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe shop practices.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
