Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Unit Director, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs patient care tasks as approved by the State of Maine Nursing Board and hospital policies and procedures. The Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse or Staff RN will provide direct supervision during the assigned shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Monitor and document vital signs.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and patients.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Participate in patient care team meetings as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Active Maine Registry for CNA.
• Previous Med/Surg and/or Telemetry Experience required.

Schedule

Shift: 1800-0630

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
