The Travel Advisor will join a small, dynamic team focused on delivering personalized travel experiences across leisure, corporate, specialty, and group travel segments. Utilizing proprietary and third-party booking platforms alongside CRM and sales tools, the advisor will develop customized itineraries, manage bookings, and provide exceptional customer support. This role demands a candidate with solid travel planning expertise and knowledge of global distribution systems (GDS), offering great pay commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand travel preferences and needs
- Develop detailed and customized travel itineraries
- Manage booking processes using GDS and other platforms
- Conduct thorough travel research to provide options and recommendations
- Provide ongoing customer support and resolve travel issues
- Promote travel packages and services to potential clients
- Collaborate within a small team environment to ensure client satisfaction
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in travel planning
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with travel booking software and GDS
- Knowledge of diverse destinations and itinerary planning
- Sales skills with ability to promote travel offerings
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
