Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Implement various treatment techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced modalities, to relieve pain and restore function. Regularly monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes, making necessary modifications to treatment plans based on patient feedback and observed progress. Educate patients, caregivers, and families about rehabilitation strategies, progress tracking, and the proper use of assistive devices to ensure safe and effective home care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and healthcare support staff, to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices through ongoing professional development activities, workshops, and peer networking. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role is crucial in guiding them towards their therapeutic goals and assisting them in regaining independence. Your expertise will have a direct impact on their recovery process, enabling them to achieve desired mobility and functionality. Qualifications A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required. A valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams. Proficiency in word processing and other relevant computer skills. A flexible, adaptable attitude toward changing patient needs and treatment strategies. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, although new graduates are encouraged to apply as mentorship opportunities are available. Compensation and Benefits The full-time Physical Therapist role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including: Sign-on bonus for new hires.
