PIT Operator - Day Shift

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move products, equipment and materials Use a handheld scanner accurately Load and unload trailers as needed Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment Demonstrate commitment to process excellence Apply the Supply Chain quality policy Perform inbound receiving processes Work day shift Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm Requirements Must be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) 1 year of warehouse experience (preferred) Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment Excellent communication skills Ability to lift 50 lbs. frequently and more than 75 lbs. occasionally Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods of time Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments Conditional offer recipients may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test Must comply with GXO policies regarding COVID safety and applicable CDC, OSHA, state and local requirements Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in operating powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers while adhering to safety and quality standards.
