Entry Level Embryologist - Waltham, MA - IVF Full-Time Waltham, MA, US 12 days ago Requisition ID: 2400 Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually ENTRY-LEVEL EMBRYOLOGIST Boston IVF | IVI RMA North America, one of the top fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking an Embryologist to join our growing Waltham practice. This position will be responsible for executing all laboratory procedures according to established policies as well as adhering to BIVF’s quality assurance/control operating procedures. The ideal candidate will hone previous embryology experience and perform all aspects of clinical embryology independently and in accordance with BIVF's Laboratory Philosophy, Mission, and Performance Standards. Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm with rotating weekends and holidays Responsibilities: Follow established policies for IVF procedures, specimen handling, and tissue storage Maintain quality assurance, quality control, and operating guidelines for lab services Adhere to quality control policies and documentation requirements Follow OSHA requirements for safe lab operation Obtain proficiency to perform all lab services efficiently and reliably on an independent basis Participate in clinical and research lab operations as directed Identify problems that may adversely affect patients and facilitate a solution Participate in lab proficiency testing Assist Laboratory Director in designing and implementing research protocols Attend laboratory meetings as requested Attend continuing education programs as requested Requirements: Bachelor's of Science 1+ years embryology experience - preferred Demonstrate an aptitude for performance of laboratory services Aptitude to make appropriate judgments regarding clinical significance of laboratory data Excellent work ethic and motivation to learn lab procedures High level of listening and counseling skills Aptitude to work independently and demonstrate good judgmentAbility to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer. Knowledge of office procedure and office machines (i.e., computer, fax, copier, etc.) Must be able to work weekends and some holidays.
